Good Morning

Today I am sharing a couple of videos I have made.

The first is a sow and cub on the river. We had observed them playing tag earlier in the week and the cub wanted to play again.

The second is a bear that dives for the salmon. Most bears put their heads down in the water and walk along until they see a dead or nearly dead salmon. They will kick the salmon up with their back feet and then scoop them up with their front feet. Two of the bears actually dove down to get the salmon.

The opening image and closing is from my drone.

I apologize for the motion in the videos. They are hand held from the boat and it is hard to keep steady.
