Good Morning

Whew! I finished uploading the Covid Reports to my website yesterday. I started the website last winter as a place to store all of these and correct the numerous typing errors. Now you can delete them all from your storage!

The current count is 360; 208 in 2020, 98 in 2021 and 54 this year so far. You find them at  www.rdbimages.ca. Let me know if I missed one :)

A lot happens in three years. When I started writing these, Hailey had just returned from her student exchange in France. Now she is on an university exchange at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences in Oslo. She left in August and is coming home next week. Sheryl has gone to Norway to visit and to ensure she comes home. She has been having a great time exploring Scandinavia and made a trip back to Italy to meet up with Zoe, her French exchange partner.

Connor has grown and is now the tallest member of the family. He is active with soccer, biking, skiing and hanging out with his friends. He is playing bass in the Edmonton Youth Orchestra. And occasionally hangs out with his Dad looking for birds. He gets his braces off on Monday!

Sheryl is busy with her community involvement and you can follow on her Facebook page. And of course you know what I am doing because you get these emails every once in a while.

Attached today is the first entry on the Covid Dailey Report page from March 16, 2020 and a couple of recent pictures. No need to see a picture of me. I a look the same. Just older.

Stay Well !

Bob

                                                                                                    March 16 : The Beginning

When Hailey left on her student exchange to France on February 13th, there were only 2 cases of Covid 19 in Italy. She spent a week in France and then went to Italy for two weeks to visit Zoe’s Dad. Then Covid 19 began to rampage Italy. Hailey left Italy Saturday morning and they closed the border on Saturday at midnight. We planned to let her stay for another two weeks but then the Canadian government started to warn Canadians to return home immediately. Hailey returned early on March 16. We were very thankful and relieved when she made it home. As a result of the Covid Pandemic and Hailey being overseas, she was required to go into two week isolation. We decided we had to go into isolation with her and I began the Covid Daily Report as a fourteen day project.

The best picture ever!
