Good Evening
After a relatively long dry spell, I found a co-operative Northern Hawk Owl today. It was initially hunting from a power line but flew down into the forest when it spotted a vole. It moved from branch to branch until it was above it, then pounced.
Once it caught it, it flew to a branch high in front of me to bite the back of its neck to kill it. Then it flew to a higher perch to have its snack.
