January 14

Good Afternoon

It is a frosty -38°C / -37°F in Edmonton this morning. Colder with the wind chill. We are only venturing out for necessities, like taking kids to the Rec Center!

I thought I would share some frosty photos I have taken since January 1st. None of them were taken in this extreme cold.

I think most of these images are of rime ice not hoar frost as they were formed in foggy conditions. But some maybe hoarfrost.

Here is a video to help you tell the difference,

This email has a few links that will keep you busy until it warms up!

I have been updating my website since Christmas. It has a slightly new look plus a new section called Gallery. The gallery is where you can go to see my most interesting images with out spending a lot of time in the other section.

I changed the titles on each page. The Covid Daily Blog is now called Stories. You can look through this section for all of my past blogs from March 2020.

As well you can check out my  Youtube channel to watch wildlife videos. I posted one from a recent trip to Saskatchewan.
