Good Afternoon

Connor and I were at Long Lake Provincial Park for the last three days. We got some nice pictures of birds, insects and plants. We also found few nests which is always fun.

A bit of wind and rain added to the adventure.

One of the birds that has eluded me over the years is the Mourning Warbler. My first trip to Ontario, we were unable to locate them. I photographed one in Panama.

Last year at Long Lake, we saw one for a couple of seconds and this year started the same. Connor showed me a picture of talk of a head and a throat of a bird we heard singing.

But then, on Tuesday morning, one decided to sing from the trees in full view. We spent ten minutes trying to capture it as it flew from branch to branch.

I was very happy to get this image.

Stay Well!
