Today I drove west of Edmonton to seek out some new territory. The forecast was for snow flurries. I found one that lasted about 10 minutes. Big white flakes came down and accumulated quickly.
At the same time, I spotted a ruffed grouse. And the another. It is interesting to see the color differences in the two birds which are most likely a pair.
