A highlight or our trip to BC was finding an Indigo Bunting. This small bird is normally found west of Manitoba. Not sure why it was by Cranbrook, but we were happy it was. It was a lifer for Connor.
Another bird we saw lots of was the Lazuli Bunting. It is rare in Alberta and only found in the far south. It is much more common in BC.
