Yesterday , I went Elk Island National Park. I came across a male Northern Harrier eating on the edge of a forest. When it was done, it decided to check me out.
Harriers fly low over marshes, swooping up and down and making sharp turns and plunges when they see some prey. Last year, I spotted one standing in a slough. Then I noticed it had a coot in its talons and was holding it under water. I alway like seeing these raptors.
