Yesterday almost went according to plan. I headed north to photograph Northern Hawk Owls flying in the snow. I found the Northern Hawk Owl but it was not flying much and the snow was light. However, there was a lot of hoarfrost and I found one somewhat co-operative Great Grey Owl to photograph.
