February 10

Wow, where have I been for the past week. I guess I disappeared down a rabbit hole or two. It has been brutally cold for the last week with wind chill temperatures in the -40°C range in the mornings. I only ventured out a few times but didn’t see too much.

I have been working on a website as a repository for the Covid Daily Reports. I am learning a lot about websites. Their creation is very manual. Every individual item has to be added. I am using Square Space as my editor. No code writing is required but even so, adding items and formatting is far from obvious. I should be going live sometime this week, It will be a very basic site. I have added 8 Covid Daily Reports so far. I have to copy the text for each one and insert each picture, add category tags etc. It will be interesting to see how many I can find in my mail system. It will also have a gallery page and a photo album page.

I also have been playing around with Topaz Studio 2. Sheryl and I have been following some Canadian artists who create abstract animal images. I have taken my inspiration from them. Sheryl has requested a large canvas print of this image so I am working through the process of enlarging, proof printing and then final printing on it.

Stay Well!

Mix a Polar Vortex with Topaz Studio 2 and this is what you get!
