Good Morning
When we were down in Brooks in May, we discovered a Ferruginous Hawk nest. We visited it again in July and three young fledglings were on the ground. (where they normally hang out) It is outr largest hawk and is an endangered species in Canada. Souther Alberta and Saskatchewan are good places to find them.
However, don’t get out of your car if you find a nest. They are known to be very protective and that is a pleasant way to het a haircut.
