Good Morning
I happened across a couple of very co-operative Thirteen-lined Ground Squirrels this week.
They are less common than the Richardson Ground Squirrels in Alberta and are considered Least Risk across their entire range. I had seen one in the talons of a Red-tailed hawk the day before. It was nice to see them alive… for now.
