Good Morning

The white-faced ibis was considered rarity twenty years ago and only venture into the extreme southern part of Alberta. This year a flock of over 170 was spotted just south of Edmonton.

We saw these ones near Brooks on our recent trip. Although they are lacking the white-face they have during breeding season, you can tell they are white-faced ibis by their red eye. Glossy Ibis which are still rare have a dark eye.
