Sorry I missed yesterday.
Here the image that I took on September 10 that I would have sent yesterday.
It is an American Pipit. They have started migrating through and it must have been a good year for them in the Arctic. There are lots of them around and they are not shy. They are about the size of a sparrow.
I was sitting on the ground next to some mud flats and photographing them about 30 feet away. This one flew about fifteen feet away. I had to scramble to reset my zoom and focus range to get it before it moved. Soon it was too close to focus on.
