Good Afternoon

I just realized I didn’t issue a report today.

Our day started out early at 6 am and we packed up the truck to drive to Lac La Biche, 2 1/2 hours north of Edmonton. I decided to check the weather forecast before we left and low and behold, the roads to Lac La Biche were closed due to flooding. Glad I discovered this in Edmonton.

So I change my plans and went to Coyote Lake, 1 hour west of Edmonton.

I had a good day and got some interesting photos.

I have only processed a few so far.

This is one of my favorites. 

It is a Black and White Warbler. A friend of mine, Ludo, described photographing warblers like trying to photograph a frog in a blender, They are continually on the move. Some , like this guy, like to skulk on the dark bushes.

You have to try to follow it through the twigs and grab a shot when it goes through a gap. I like the green diffuse lighting on this one. He is about four or five feet into the bushes.
