Today we are featuring a couple of images Connor took on January 3. You saw my images from that day in the January 3rd Covid Daily Report.
Last year, I only saw three Northern Hawk Owls. For the first two, I was by myself. On December 31, Connor and I made on last try to find one for him before the end of the year. And we were successful. I shared that one in the Covid Daily Report on January 2nd.
On January 1st, we photographed another one, so for both Connor and I , the last photograph of 2020 and the first photograph of 2021 was of a Northern Hawk Owl. The January 3rd session had better light and a more co-operative owl, so we are still going through the images for that day to pick out our favorites. Here are a couple of Connor’s.
