Yukon Ho

In September 2019, Brian Hoffman,Ron Wild and I began our adventure to drive to the Arctic Ocean. An all weather road was opened in 2017 which completed the final link to the Arctic from Inuvik to Tuktoyuktuk. Our goal was to be able to say we have driven coast to coast to coast in Canada.

It is a long journey and we decided to break it up into two legs; Edmonton to Whitehorse one year and Whitehorse to Tuktoyuktuk the next. It is a 25 hour drive from Edmonton to Whitehorse and given our time constraints it seemed like a good plan. We did the drive up in four days, stayed two days and drove home in two days.

It was a quick trip but left me yearning to return. That ended up taking longer than we planned.
