Spring Migration is underway. Sandhill cranes and snow geese have been spotted east of Edmonton. The small warblers are still another month away.
Last year , a birding friend of mine from Prince George, David, invited me to come look for warblers with him at Long Lake north of Edmonton. We took our tent trailer and camped overnight in order to be there early in the morning. We have a very good two days and saw lots of birds.
One of my highlights was this Canadian Warbler.
